Ballinlough Granlahan Crannóg
This is a superb reconstruction video presented by the Ballinlough Granlahan Heritage Group and partly funded by the Heritage Council to bring local history alive. The crannog or lake dwelling was man-made and centred in the lake for security. Sometimes there were stepping stones only to the dwelling whereas here it is thought that there was a pathway constructed.

The Crannog as it looks today and below as it might have looked over 800 years ago.
The video is presented to a very high standard and is a great teaching tool to explain early settlements in Ireland.
